STATEMENT OF PURPOSE






The

Church of the Holy Apostles

exists to:

Participate in the Mission of the Church Catholic to
Restore all people to unity with God and each other in
Christ.


We do this by:


Praying and Worshiping

Celebrating the Eucharist and through this sacrificial act worshiping
God our Heavenly Father as He has authoritatively revealed Himself
in Jesus Christ, His son, our Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit.


Proclaiming the Gospel

Proclaiming by word and example the Good News of God in Christ
Jesus our Lord, Neither adding to nor taking from the deposit of the
Faith as we have received it in Holy Scripture and Apostolic Tradition.


Ministering the Means of Grace

Equipping men, women and children with the treasures of Scriptural
teaching and sacramental grace, that they may know, love and serve
Jesus Christ faithfully in this life and be happy with him forever
in the next.


Promoting Justice, Peace and Love

Sending out people into the world in the power of the Holy Spirit to do
the work of disciples, to seek andserve Christ in all person, to love our
neighbors as ourselves, to respect the dignity of every human being.
